Applying for a job here, step by step

How to find a role, apply, follow your application, accept your offer and get ready for your first day.

How it works

From applying to your first day

Eight steps. You will not need all of them for every role, but this is the whole path.

  1. Step 1

    Find a role

Every open role is on the careers page — what the job involves, where it is based and what it asks for.

    • Some roles take applications only between two dates. Before the first, the role is listed with the date it opens; after the last, the page tells you when it closed.
    • A role that is still open accepts applications straight away.

  2. Step 2

    Create your account

Register with your name, email and a password. We email you a link, and your account works once you open it — the link is valid for an hour.

    • With an account you can save an application halfway and finish it later
    • You can see where every application you have made stands
    • Your offer arrives in your account, and you answer it there

  3. Step 3

    Apply

Open the role and fill in the application. Attach your CV and answer the questions for that role.

    • The form shows which file types and sizes it accepts. If a file is refused, the message says what is accepted instead.
    • Some questions decide whether you are eligible for the role, so answer them as they are.
    • Where the company has it switched on, the form fills itself in from your CV — check it before you send.
    • Signed in, you can choose Finish later. Your answers are kept; attach your CV again when you come back.
  4. Step 4

    Follow your application

Sign in and Your applications lists each one: the step it has reached, in the company's own words, when you applied and when it last moved.

    • If you are not taken forward, it says so. The internal reasons are not shown.
    • Some steps also send you an email when you reach them.

  5. Step 5

    Interview

If you are invited to interview, you are emailed the date, time and how it will happen, with a calendar invitation attached so it goes straight into your diary.

  6. Step 6

    Accept your offer

An offer appears in your account with the offer letter. Read it, then answer it there.

    • To accept, type your full name exactly as it is on your account. The time you accepted is recorded.
    • To decline, you can say why — or not.
    • You answer once. If you change your mind afterwards, speak to the HR team.
    • Each offer is open until a date shown on it; after that it expires.
  7. Step 7

    Upload your documents

Your documents is where you add what the company needs before you join, straight to your own record.

    • Aadhaar, PAN or passport
    • Education certificates and experience letters
    • Payslips, a work permit, or an updated CV
  8. Step 8

Get ready for your first day

Once you have accepted and your hire is recorded, the HR team has an induction checklist for you — things like your ID card, laptop, handbook and induction session — so they can see what still needs doing before you arrive.

    • Keep your phone number and location up to date under Your details, so the team can reach you.

Questions

Things people ask

Do I need an account to apply?

No. You can apply without one. An account is what lets you save a long application and finish it later, see where your applications stand, answer your offer online and upload your documents.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. Enter your email and the new password you want, and we email you a link — open it within an hour and the new password takes effect.

Why can't I see why I was not selected?

The reasons a hiring team records are for their own decisions and stay internal. Your application shows that it was not taken forward, so you are not left waiting.

Can I change my details after applying?

Yes. Under Your details you can update your phone, location, whether you would relocate, your current employer and role, experience, notice period, expected salary, skills and LinkedIn.

What happens to my information?

It is held by the company you applied to, on their own system. You can ask for it to be removed, and it is anonymised rather than left half-deleted. The security page explains how it is protected.
